Third eye
Third eye opening, Inner eye, Eye on the forehead
In Hindu and Buddhist traditions, an inner eye in the middle of the forehead stands for insight that goes beyond ordinary sight. The god Shiva is often shown with a third eye, and the idea has spread widely through yoga and modern spirituality. Dreaming of a third eye usually has to do with seeing beneath the surface: noticing patterns, understanding what a person really means or grasping the bigger picture at last. If it opened suddenly, a moment of clarity may be close.

- A closed or covered third eyeYou'd rather not know something just yet, and that's allowed for a while. Ask yourself what would change if you did know; that may be the real worry.
