Weasel
Weasels, Stoat, Ermine
Slim, quick and gone before you've had a good look, the weasel is one of the smallest hunters in the countryside. In English its name has become shorthand for slipperiness: 'weasel words' dodge a clear answer, and to 'weasel out' of something is to wriggle free of a promise. A weasel in your dream may raise the question of whether someone, or you, is avoiding a straight answer. Yet the animal itself is bold and resourceful, taking on prey much bigger than itself, so the dream can also praise your nimble, determined side. What it did, darting off or turning to stare back, shows which side is speaking.
