Hate
Hatred, Hating someone, Being hated
Hate is among the heaviest feelings a dream can carry, and it can linger into the morning. Hating someone in a dream doesn't mean you'd ever harm them. It usually points to hurt, unfairness or anger you've pushed aside because it felt wrong to feel it. Being hated by someone may come from fear of rejection, or guilt about something unresolved. Watching hatred melt away is a hopeful turn: you're finding a way to forgive, or at least to let go.
Dream variations
- Hating someone you loveLove and anger can sit side by side, especially with the people closest to you. A feeling this strong shows how much they matter, not that the love is gone.
- Someone hating you for no reasonYou're worried you've been misjudged. Other people's feelings are theirs to manage, but you can be clear about your intentions.
- Hating yourself in the dreamYour inner critic is loud right now. Ask it for evidence; it rarely has as much as it claims.
- Letting go of hateYou're putting down something heavy. Your hands, and your days, are freer for it.
