Enemy
Enemies, Foe, Nemesis
Facing an enemy in a dream can stir up anger, fear or a stubborn urge to win. These dreams rarely predict real hostility. More often they grow out of a rivalry, an old grudge or a conflict you keep replaying in your head. An enemy you know may simply stand for tension you haven't resolved with that person. A faceless enemy can reflect pressure from many directions, or a harsh inner critic. If you made peace in the dream, you're closer to letting the conflict go than you thought.
