Being followed
Followed, Someone following you, Footsteps behind you
Being followed is quieter than being chased, and often more unsettling: footsteps that keep pace with yours, a car that takes every turn you take, a figure who stops when you stop. The dream is mostly about something that stays with you whether you like it or not, such as an old decision, a rumor, a debt of gratitude or a worry that tags along everywhere. Because the follower keeps its distance, the problem may feel manageable but never quite gone. Turning to look is the key moment, and what you see can surprise you. Not every follower is a threat; a stray dog trotting behind you can be loyalty looking for a home.
