Turkey
Turkeys, Wild turkey, Roast turkey
In much of North America and Britain, a roast turkey is the centerpiece of the big holiday meal, a bird made for feeding a crowd. Turkey dreams tend to revolve around family gatherings, generosity and the work of hosting. A golden turkey on the table suggests plenty and a sense of occasion. The live bird is another matter: wild turkeys strut and fan their tails, and Benjamin Franklin once called the turkey a more respectable bird than the bald eagle. To "talk turkey" means to speak frankly, and the dream could be nudging you toward an honest conversation.
