Swallow
Swallows, Barn swallow, House martin
Swallows fly thousands of miles south for the winter and still find their way back to the same barn or eaves every spring. That makes a swallow a lovely dream sign of return: a person coming home, a good season starting again or a feeling you thought you'd lost. Their quick, swooping flight over fields adds lightness and agility, as if you're moving through a busy time with ease. The old saying 'one swallow does not make a summer' is worth remembering, though: one good sign is welcome, but give it time to become a trend. Swallows lining up on a wire in late summer can point to a coming departure or change of season in your life.
