Notebook

Notebooks, Notepad, Spiral notebook

Most people have filled a notebook with lists, class notes and half-finished ideas, so it's a natural dream image for the way you organize your thoughts. Jotting things down in one suggests you're planning step by step, or trying not to forget what matters. A brand-new notebook, still stiff and smelling of paper, gives you the fresh-start feeling of being organized at last. Lists that keep growing down the page may mirror a busy stretch with a lot to keep track of.

Dream variations

• Losing your notebookYou're afraid of dropping a detail that others are counting on. Put the key points somewhere safe today.

• Doodling in the marginsYour mind wants to wander and play. A little daydreaming may solve what hard focus couldn't.
• Filling the last pageA stretch of planning is complete. Read over what you wrote before you start the next one.
