Donuts

Doughnuts, Donut, Box of donuts

A box of donuts is one of the easiest ways to cheer up a whole crowd, so donuts in a dream are often about small pleasures and shared treats. A warm, glazed donut is comfort at its simplest. The hole in the middle can point to something missing at the center of an otherwise sweet situation. Picking from a glass case full of colorful choices may mirror a decision where every option looks tempting. A stale donut hints that a treat you counted on has lost its appeal.

Dream variations

• Treating your coworkers to donutsYou'd like to brighten the days of people you see often. A kind gesture like that will be remembered.
• The last donut in the boxYou're weighing your own wishes against good manners. Offer it or split it, but either way, ask first.
• Making donuts at homeYou're putting real effort into a simple joy. It doesn't have to look like the bakery's to be good.
• Eating donuts in secretYou're allowing yourself a pleasure you'd rather not explain. Enjoy it openly, or ask why you feel you have to hide it.
