Cookies
Cookie, Biscuits, Cookie jar
Cookies are small, often homemade and baked to be shared, which gives them a friendly place in dreams. Baking a batch often shows a wish to look after people or to add a little warmth to a group. Eating cookies points to comfort and simple rewards, the kind that fit in one hand. A cookie jar has its own story: reaching into it hints at a small temptation, or something you'd like but feel you should ask for first. Burnt or crumbled cookies mean a minor plan didn't turn out as hoped, nothing more.
Dream variations
- Baking cookies for othersYou want to show care in a simple, hands-on way. Something you made yourself will mean more than anything from a store.
- A hand in the cookie jarYou're tempted by something you've told yourself you shouldn't have. Decide whether the rule still makes sense.
- Cookie-cutter shapesOthers are pressing you into a shape they chose. Hold on to a few edges that are yours.
- Burnt cookiesYou got distracted at the wrong moment. Next time, stay with the task until it's done.
