Deadline
Missing a deadline, Racing against time, Last-minute rush
A deadline turns "someday" into "by Friday," and dreaming about one often shows how you handle pressure. Racing to finish at the last minute can come from a busy stretch where too many things are due at once. Meeting the deadline with time to spare suggests you're more organized than you tend to admit. A deadline you didn't know about may come from worry that you've missed instructions or expectations. Sometimes the deadline passes and nothing happens, a hint that the pressure you feel is bigger than the real stakes.
Dream variations

- A deadline you didn't know aboutYou worry that others know something you don't. Ask for the full picture so you're not guessing.
- A deadline that keeps movingPlans around you are unsettled. Focus on what you can finish no matter what.
