Black hole

Black holes, Void

A black hole swallows everything that comes too close, even light, which makes it one of the most mysterious images a dream can use. It often appears when something in your life seems to absorb endless time, energy or attention without giving anything back. It can also stand for the unknown in its purest form, a question so big you can't find where it ends. Being pulled toward one may show a strong attraction or habit you're struggling to resist. If you watched it from a safe distance, curiosity is winning over fear.

Dream variations

• Things disappearing into a black holeEffort or care seems to vanish without a trace. Look for one place where it would be noticed instead.
• Staring into a black holeYou're fascinated by a question nobody can answer. Wonder about it, then come back to what you can touch.
• Coming out the other sideYou've come through something that changed everything. Look around; the new place has its own good points.
