Attic

Loft, Attic room

Up under the roof, where boxes gather dust, an attic holds the things you've stored away and half forgotten. Exploring one in a dream leads you to memories, family history or old plans that you set aside long ago. Climbing into a bright, tidy attic says you can look back with ease. A dark, crowded one suggests there are thoughts you've packed away without sorting. Whatever you found up there may be worth bringing back into your life.

Dream variations

• Finding something valuable in the atticAn old talent or idea still has worth. Dust it off and give it a place in your life again.
• A cluttered atticYour mind is full of things you never sorted. Clear one box at a time, starting with the heaviest.
• Someone living in the atticA part of your past is still quietly present in your days. Get curious about it instead of scared.
• Noises from the atticAn old worry is making itself heard. Go up and look; it's probably smaller than it sounds.
