Basement
Cellar
Down below the everyday rooms lies the basement, where things are stored and forgotten. In dreams it often stands for your hidden side: old memories, fears, instincts or talents you haven't used. A dark, scary basement holds something you'd rather not face yet. A cozy or well-lit one suggests you're at peace with your past. Finding something valuable down there is a lovely sign that you have more resources than you think.
