Student
Students, Being a student, Homework
A student is someone with permission to be a beginner, and that's often what this dream is getting at. You may be at the start of something in waking life, where it's normal not to have the answers yet. Seeing yourself as a student when you're long past school age may mean you're more curious than your schedule allows. Being a student in a subject you know nothing about may reflect a wish to start fresh where no one expects much of you yet. Enjoying a lesson just for its own sake shows that learning still lights you up.
Dream variations
- Being the oldest student in classYou're starting something new later than others. Your life experience is a head start, not a handicap.
- Forgetting your homeworkYou're worried about being caught out over something small. Nobody's grading as hard as you are.
- Studying all nightYou're trying to master something fast. Pace yourself; understanding sticks better than cramming.
- Being a model studentYou want to get everything right and be seen doing it. Let one thing be good enough.
