Raven
Ravens, Big black bird, Talking raven
Large, glossy and remarkably clever, ravens can solve puzzles, remember faces and even copy human speech. That's why a raven in a dream so often feels wise, as if it knows something you don't. It may stand for memory, deep thinking or a mystery you're trying to crack. A raven watching you quietly hints at a question that won't let go of you. In old Norse myth the god Odin kept two ravens named Thought and Memory, and dream ravens still carry that sense of insight.
