Parking lot

Parking garage, Car park, Parking space

Nobody plans to spend much time in a parking lot; it's a place you pass through on the way to somewhere else. Dreams set in one often center on pauses and in-between moments, when your plans are parked while you wait or decide. Circling for a space can feel like searching for a spot in a crowded group or a schedule with no room left. A huge, empty lot at night may feel eerie, a sign you're between chapters with little around you. If every row looked the same, your days may be so alike that you've stopped noticing where you are.
