Ice skating
Skating, Ice rink, Figure skating
Gliding across the ice takes balance, nerve and a willingness to fall now and then. A skating dream often shows how much fun you can have with something that could easily trip you up. Smooth, confident skating says you've learned to rely on your own poise and might even be showing off a little. Wobbling along the edge of the rink, clinging to the wall, suggests you're still learning the rules of something new. Skating hand in hand with someone speaks of closeness and trust.
Dream variations
- Falling on the iceYou took a tumble while trying something new, and your pride took the worst of it. Get up, laugh and go again.
- A frozen lake all to yourselfYou have space to go at your own speed for once. Use it to practice something you'd be shy to try in public.
- Spinning like a figure skaterYou've practiced something long enough to make it look easy. Let people see the result.
- Skating with a partnerYou're learning to share the ice with someone, giving each other room to glide. Talk before the next big turn.
