Hourglass

Hour glass, Sand timer, Egg timer

An hourglass lets you watch time pour away, one grain of sand at a time. Seeing one in a dream often comes with a feeling that a window is closing, or that an important moment is drawing near. Watching the last grains fall can feel urgent, yet it can also be a relief, the sense that a waiting period is nearly over. Unlike a clock, an hourglass doesn't tell the hour; it only shows how much is left, so the dream may ask what you're really measuring.

• Turning the hourglass overYou're giving yourself, or someone else, another chance. Use the new round differently from the last.
