Hornet

Hornets, Hornet's nest, Giant hornet

Bigger and louder than a wasp, a hornet makes its presence felt the moment it flies into a dream. It usually arrives when tension around you has grown from a minor annoyance into something that demands attention. The phrase "stirring up a hornet's nest" is never far away, and the dream may concern a subject that sets people off as soon as it's mentioned. A hornet that flies past and leaves you alone means you can stay near a heated situation without getting stung.
