Hamster

Hamsters, Gerbil, Hamster wheel

A hamster stuffs its cheeks, runs for hours on its wheel and naps through the day, so it adds a cozy, slightly comic energy to a dream. The wheel is the image most people remember: plenty of effort, very little distance covered. If that sounds like your week, the dream may be nudging you to check whether all that running gets you anywhere. A hamster curled up in its bedding with full cheeks is a happier sight, a picture of stocking up and feeling safe with what you've gathered.
