Goldfish

Gold fish, Goldfish bowl, Fishbowl

Bright orange and circling a small bowl, a goldfish is often the first pet a child is trusted with. A goldfish dream can call up that sense of looking after something small, or show a life that feels a little too contained. Watching a goldfish swim round and round may reflect routines that loop without much change. Feeding one can show you're good at small, regular acts of care. Winning one at a fair adds a dash of luck and childhood fun.
