Excitement

Excited, Thrill, Feeling excited

Excitement is that fizzy, can't-sit-still feeling when something good seems about to happen. Dream excitement often belongs to a plan, a person or a change you're secretly looking forward to. Sometimes it borrows the buzz of an upcoming trip or event. Other times it arrives out of nowhere, a sign that your energy is coming back after a flat patch. Excitement and nerves feel almost the same in the body, so ask yourself which one it really was.

Dream variations

• Excitement before a tripYou're craving novelty and a break from routine. Put something small on the calendar, even a day out.
• Excitement that turns into nervesYou care about how something will turn out. Prepare the part that's in your hands, and leave the rest open.
• Nobody shares your excitementYou're keener on an idea than everyone else seems to be. Keep your enthusiasm; just find a better audience for it.
