Dragonfly

Dragonflies, Damselfly

Darting, hovering and flashing with color, a dragonfly moves in a way few other insects can. In dreams it often appears during times of quick change, when you need to be light on your feet and switch direction. Dragonflies spend most of their lives underwater before taking to the air, which makes them a fitting image of a late bloom, a talent that has been developing out of sight. One skimming over a pond links the dream to feelings you're touching without going deep yet. Its shimmering wings add a sense of things looking different from every side.
