Coyote

Coyotes, Howling coyote, Coyote pup

The coyote is the great survivor of North America, at home in deserts, prairies and even big-city parks. Its yips and howls at night can sound eerie, but in a dream it's more often about cleverness, adaptability and the knack of making do with whatever you find. In many Native American stories Coyote is a trickster, foolish one moment and brilliant the next, so the dream may hint at a situation where the rules are being bent, by you or by someone else. A lone coyote trotting along a roadside can mean you're getting by on your own wits for now.
