Centipede

Centipedes, Millipede, Many-legged bug

With dozens of legs rippling along its body, a centipede is fast, flat and very good at slipping into cracks. Most people flinch at the sight, so in a dream it often stands for something small that unsettles you more than it should, like a nagging doubt or a person who seems to be everywhere at once. Its many legs can also point to doing a lot of things at the same time and keeping them all in step. A slow millipede curled into a coil is a quieter image of protecting yourself by keeping still. Watching one without recoiling suggests you're getting better at facing little fears.
