Caterpillar

Caterpillars, Woolly bear, Inchworm

A caterpillar spends its days eating, growing and slowly getting set for a big change it can't yet imagine. The dream often marks an early, hungry stage: learning, gathering and building up strength for what comes next. It may not look impressive yet, and that's part of the message. A caterpillar inching along shows patient, step-by-step effort. One spinning a cocoon suggests you need some privacy before a change. If a caterpillar crawled on you, something small and unfamiliar is getting close, which is more odd than threatening.
