Carpet
Rug, Rugs, Carpets
A carpet softens a room and covers the hard floor underneath, so dream carpets are about comfort and about what lies beneath the surface. A thick, beautiful carpet says you've made your surroundings cozy and feel settled. A worn one may show that something familiar has gotten shabby with use. Patterns you remember can hold clues, since an old rug often carries years of family life with it. Walking a red carpet is a moment of being formally welcomed, as if your arrival matters.
Dream variations
- Sweeping something under the rugA problem you've hidden is starting to make a bump. Lift the corner and sort it out while it's small.
- A flying carpetYou're longing to be carried far from your usual view. Pick one small adventure you can actually take.
- Choosing a new carpetYou're deciding what kind of comfort to build your days on. Pick something that will wear well, not just look good.
- A stain you can't get outOne mistake keeps catching your eye. Others probably see the whole room, not the spot.
