Balloons

Balloon, Party balloons, Helium balloon

Bright and bobbing on their strings, balloons are made for celebrations and rarely last long. A dream full of them often has a light, festive air, a sign of happy news or a reason for a party. Because they float away the moment you let go, balloons also touch on hopes you're holding by a thin thread. A balloon tied to a child's wrist can show how much you hope a good time will last. Water balloons add mischief and a burst of summer fun.

Dream variations

• Letting a balloon goYou're releasing a hope or a worry on purpose. Watch it rise and feel lighter.
• A balloon poppingA bit of fun ended sooner than you wanted. Shake it off; there will be other parties.
• Holding a big bunch of balloonsYou're carrying lots of good feelings, maybe too many to hold easily. Hand a few to someone else.
• A balloon that won't inflateYour excitement about an event or a plan is running low. Ask what would put the air back in.
