Octopus

Squid, Tentacles

An octopus has eight arms, a clever brain and a talent for slipping out of tight spaces. In a dream it can be about juggling many things at once, or about feeling that someone has too strong a grip on you. Octopuses are also masters of disguise, so the dream may hint at something hidden or not quite what it seems. If you felt calm watching it, your own resourcefulness is the message.
