Gun

Pistol, Rifle

Power, control and the fear of conflict all meet in a dream about a gun. It may turn up when you feel threatened, pressured or ready to defend yourself. Holding a gun calmly can show you're taking charge of a situation. Being threatened with one reflects stress or a feeling that someone has the upper hand. Older dream books treated guns as a sign of trouble, but today they're a prompt to look at where you feel powerless or pushed.
