Devil

Satan, Demon

Temptation, not doom: that's what the devil usually brings to a dream. He tends to appear when part of you is drawn to a shortcut, a habit or a person you're unsure about. Traditional dream readers warned that he liked to come dressed in charm, so flattery deserves a second look. If you stood up to him, you'll resist a pull that isn't good for you. A laughing, playful devil means a mischievous streak wants some fun.
